Social Media Strategist

A social media strategist’s job is to create digital content for Clients that positions them as an authority in their sector. He/She must actively research every topic to be written on and ensure that they reflect the brand’s Ideals and stance as an Authority.

 

In particular, this position is responsible for two primary roles

  • Content development
  • Management of digital platforms

 

Job Description.

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Prepare well-structured Content for social media, blogs, print media etc. using Content Management Systems
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publishing
  • Submit work to the editor for approval and or input 
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web and social media traffic
  • Identify the target audience’s content needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
